Dong Feng, the Three Miracle Doctors of Jian'an

Dong Feng's superb medical skills and his noble medical ethics of not seeking fame or wealth, but also being willing to do charity have been passed down as good stories and have been passed down for thousands of years. People called him the "Three Miracle Doctors of Jian'an" together with Hua Tuo of Qiao County and Zhang Zhongjing of Nanyang at that time. Later generations praised doctors with high medical skills as "the spring warmth of the apricot forest" and "the reputation of the apricot forest", and called Chinese medicine "Xinglin". According to records, there are still apricot groves in Dong's original medical practice in Jiujiang, Jiangxi today. After Dong Feng's death, people built the Dong Feng Pavilion on Lushan Mountain; there is a mountain in Changle called Dong Feng Mountain; and there is a Ming Dynasty life-saving hall in Heshang Village, Chating Street, Fuzhou, all in memory of Dong Feng. "Zhenxian Tongjian" records: "Feng Feng has been in the world for a hundred years, and his color is often like that of thirty people." It can be seen that Dong Feng has a way of maintaining health.

There is Dong Feng Mountain in Longtian Village, Guhuai Town, which was renamed by later generations in memory of Dong Feng. Dong Fengshan's original name was Fushan. "Yuanhe County Chronicles" written by Li Jifu of the Tang Dynasty said that Fuzhou was "named because of Fushan Mountain in the northwest of the state." The note in "Fuzhou Prefecture Annals" written by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty says: "Fushan, now called Dongfeng Mountain, belongs to Changle County." Dongfeng may be a homophone of Dongfeng. Some people say that the Fushan Mountain from which Fuzhou got its name is Dong Fengshan.

In Dong Feng’s hometown, at the junction of Longtian Village and Yantang Village in Guhuai Town, the large-scale Dong Feng Thatched Cottage was built. The thatched cottage covers an area of ??20 acres and is built in the style of the Later Han and Three Kingdoms eras. It is surrounded by apricot trees, allowing us to feel the charm of the ancient story "The warmth of spring in the apricot forest".

The landscapes in Dongfeng Thatched Cottage include the China Changle Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum, the "Xinglin Wangzhong" large screen, the Nanya Hall of the famous Qing Dynasty doctor Chen Xiuyuan, the "Baicao Garden" and various stone carvings. In the main hall, there is a bust statue of Dong Feng "Hanging the Pot to Help the World".
