On the Pacific battlefield of 1942, the military doctor Desmond Doss didn't want to shoot anyone at the front. Because of his ideal of peace, he was excluded from other soldiers.
Despite this, he still stuck to his beliefs and principles, went into battle alone, and vowed to rescue his comrades who were still alive, despite the bullets and the brutal Japanese army. Hundreds of compatriots suffered heavy casualties on enemy land. He rushed into the rain of bullets, kept praying and begging to save another person with his own strength. Finally, 75 injured comrades were miraculously transported to a safe place and survived.
