What does "no husband" mean?
The general idea is that anyone who can't be ruthless can't be a "gentleman" who can make a big difference. "Hate" and "poison" are indispensable factors to become a gentleman, and they can also be said to be one of the natures of a gentleman. In Yuan Dynasty, Wang Shifu made this statement in The West Chamber, The Five Classics and Four Books Compromise. Chapter 51 of Yue Quanzhuan also leads to this famous saying. Ancient sages praised the gentleman-like figures who embodied this argument. I am afraid that Cao Cao is the "immortal". The story depicted at the end of the fourth chapter of Romance of the Three Kingdoms is the embodiment of this argument. It tells the story that Cao Cao fled to his home after trying to assassinate Dong Zhuo. Cao Cao killed eight people in the Lu family by mistake, and finally even Cao Youen's. It can be called a historical photo reflecting the old saying "no poison, no husband". Another classic figure like a gentleman is Li Kui jy, the hero of Water Margin. People describe his heroic image of hating evil, being fierce and killing people without blinking an eye with appreciation. However, how many lives this gentleman has destroyed, including so many innocent people, playing with children and babies. 2 "A small amount is not a gentleman, and a non-toxic one is not a husband." This proverb was originally "Less is not a gentleman, more is not a husband", and it is also used in antithesis. Unfortunately, the word "degree" is a flat word, which is awkward and easy to pronounce as the flat word "poison". The ancients, who had high requirements for the aesthetic feeling of melody, changed this sentence to "no poison, no husband" and became a typical example of "words are not beautiful, words are not believed". I don't know from what era, the phrase "no poison, no husband" has become the "theoretical basis" for the thoughts and actions of evildoers, careerists and schemers, and it has become the creed. In fact, this sentence comes from a rumor, not the original intention. Its authenticity consists of two profound couplets proverbs: "Don't be a husband if you spend too much, but be a gentleman if you spend too little". It means that people who are narrow-minded and lack measurement are not worthy of being husbands and gentlemen. The word "quantity" is combined with the word "quantity" in "excessive husband" and "small quantity is not a gentleman", which has the original meaning of "the prime minister can hold a boat in his stomach" Later, in the long-term circulation, the sound and meaning of the folk proverb "no husband, small quantity is not a gentleman" changed, and the result was wrong, and it was mistaken for "no poison, no husband, small quantity is not a gentleman"
