It is understood that the salary of teachers in Indian science and technology universities is generally higher, while the salary of teachers in liberal arts universities is lower. Their salaries are calculated on a monthly basis, about 10,000 rupees (equivalent to 2,000 yuan) for lecturers, 15,000 rupees (equivalent to 3,000 yuan) for associate professors, and about 20,000 rupees (equivalent to 4,000 yuan) for professors. All teachers who work at the University of Nigeria are allocated a house, especially professors or associate professors with some qualifications, who can also get a small unit building. However, the University of Nigeria stipulates that all retirees must move out of the University. That is to say, you must go out and buy a house before you retire.
Both lecturers and professors have a separate office in their respective department office buildings. Except for undergraduates with a large number of students who need to go to special classrooms for classes, if there are only three or five graduate students, they only need to attend classes. Just take classes in the teacher's office. In terms of classroom discipline, some are more strict, while others are more casual. It is often not surprising to be late for half an hour. Indians don't have a strong sense of punctuality. If they say there is a meeting at 9 o'clock, it would be good if they could all be there at 10 o'clock.
