"I want to search up and down" comes from the 97th sentence of Li Sao written by Qu Yuan. It is about Qu Yuan's unremitting pursuit of political ideals, and later the world used it to describe people's persistent and tenacious spiritual quality. "Li Sao" (excerpt): It is dusk if you want to leave this spirit less. Make him shy, watch it, but don't push it.

There is a long way to go in Xiu Yuan, and I will go up and down. Drinking more pigeons in Xianchi always leaves the rest on hibiscus. When the wood breaks, blow the sun and chat with the sheep.

Vernacular translation: I wanted to stay in Lingsuo for a while, and the sunset was dusk. I ordered Yihe to stop whipping and walk slowly to keep the sun away from the mountain. The road ahead is long, and I will pursue my ideal wholeheartedly. Let my horse drink in the salty pool and tie the reins to the hibiscus tree. If I break a branch to block the sun, I can wander leisurely for a while.

Qu Yuan's personal introduction:

Qu Yuan (about 340-278 BC) was born in Zigui, Danyang, the State of Chu (now Yichang, Hubei), and was a poet and politician of the State of Chu during the Warring States Period. Qu Yuan is a descendant of Qu Xian, the son of Chu Wuwang Xiong Tong.

Slashed by nobles, he was exiled to Hanbei and Yuanxiang Valley. After the capital of Chu was breached by Qin Jun, it sank into the Miluo River and died for Chu. He is a great patriotic poet in the history of China, the founder of China's romantic literature, and the founder and representative writer of The Songs of the South. He initiated the tradition of "vanilla beauty" and is known as the "ancestor of the Songs of the South".

Song Yu, Le Tang and Jing Ke were all influenced by Qu Yuan. According to legend, Qu Yuan committed suicide by throwing himself into the river on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, that is, the Dragon Boat Festival. Dragon Boat Festival was originally a festival for China people to get rid of diseases and prevent epidemics.

Before the Spring and Autumn Period in Wuyue, there was a custom of holding tribal totem sacrifices in the form of dragon boat races on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. Later, because Qu Yuan died on this day, it became a traditional festival for the people of China to commemorate Qu Yuan.
