1. If people are good, even though blessings have not yet arrived, disasters have been far away; if people have been evil, although disasters have not yet come, blessings have been far away.
2. Don’t be jealous of others. If you are jealous of others, you will end up short. Don't protect yourself from shortcomings. If you protect yourself from shortcomings, you will not grow up in the end.
3. Being angry means punishing yourself for the faults of others. To forgive others is to be kind to yourself.
4. Seeing what is wrong with oneself is the door to all good. Seeing others as they are not is the root of all evil.
5. More money may not necessarily bring you more happiness, but more money and tiredness will bring you troubles. Being poor and enjoying the Tao is truly comfortable, having no worries and caress and being happy and carefree.
6. Changing yourself is to save yourself, and influencing others is to save others.
7. Stimulating the five senses is not a real enjoyment. Inner peace is the place to start.
8. People who often blame themselves can often be forgiven by others.
9. If people do not seek blessings, there will be no disaster. If a person does not seek profit, he will do no harm.
10. A wise man plans with the times, while a fool plans against the times.
11. A safe body is not as good as a safe mind, and a wide house is not as good as a wide heart.
12. "Self-desire" is a sign of poverty. Things are always enough, the mind is always happy, and people have no expectations and high standards.
13. Helping people in times of crisis is a good thing. If you can refrain from boasting, you have great virtue!
14. A lie is like a blooming flower, beautiful in appearance but short in life.
15. Don’t do any evil, and do all the good. Don’t do good deeds because they are trivial, and don’t do evil deeds because they are trivial.
16. You must make friends with honest people, and don’t make unjust friends. Drink quiet tea, don't be greedy for colorful wine. Open the door of convenience and the mouth of right and wrong.
17. Those who are kind-hearted will live longer. Those who are engraved in their hearts will live longer.
18. A safe body is not as good as a safe mind, and a wide house is not as good as a wide heart.
19. When encountering good times, stay calm; when encountering adversity, stay calm.
20. A person’s happiness is not because he has more, but because he cares less.
21. A drop of water can penetrate a stone, not because of great strength, but because of deep skill.
22. If you don’t do anything frowning in your life, there should be no gnashing of teeth in the world.
23. There are two things in the world that cannot wait: 1. Filial piety. 2. Do good deeds.
24. Being able to give love is blessing, and being able to eliminate worries is wisdom.
