The central argument of doubt and learning is that the spirit of doubt is essential in academic research. This paper puts forward this topic by quoting the famous saying that "scholars must first doubt". Subsequently, the article further discusses the importance of doubt in academic research. First of all, doubt is a necessary step to distinguish falsehood from falsehood and negation. Through the doubt and critical thinking of existing theories and viewpoints, we can distinguish the truth from the false, eliminate the wrong viewpoints, and thus promote the progress of academic research. Secondly, doubt is the basic condition for establishing new theories and enlightening new inventions from the front.
