If Buddha Zhang can really live forever, then at the beginning of the story of Tomb Raider Notes, Buddha Zhang must still be alive. But in the whole story, Buddha Zhang never appeared, and there was no sign of life at all.

From the time of creation, the above two works are the earlier works of Nanpai uncle. Therefore, in the early setting of Nanpai's three uncles, Buddha Zhang should not live forever.

But in the short story "Old Nine Doors", there is such a story: Master Zhang pointed to the iron mouth and said, "If I can really give you life, it will be a great public morality for me." It is obvious from this sentence that the life span of Buddha Zhang should be quite long, that is, long live the Buddha.

Old Nine Doors is the work of Nanpai's three uncles in the later period, so whether Zhang Dafu can live forever is actually somewhat different in Nanpai's three uncles' early and late creations.

There is a contradiction here. If the Buddha is immortal, where did the Buddha Zhang in Tomb Raider Notes go? Why didn't such an important person appear?

If Buddha Zhang Can can't live forever, there will be problems in his later creation. Either way, you need to send your uncle to explain.

In addition, some people may say that Buddha Zhang is not a pure Zhang family and should not live forever. Xiao Zhang's brother, who appeared in the fantasy, was adopted and raised by the Zhang family. He is not related to the Zhang family, but he also has an immortal constitution.

Therefore, although the Buddha Zhang is not a pure Zhang, it is possible that he will live forever. It depends on how Uncle Nanpai finally decides.
