Conscious thinking. . . .
The landlord is familiar with this question, and the short answer is as follows:

In the seven points of the Shurangama Sutra, the mind is not conscious, but "sincere".

First, the conscious mind is the "self" recognized by most people. Children whose self-awareness has not yet been fully formed regard the body as me, and this level can be called "seeing the body"; The "I" of ordinary adults is this kind of conscious mind that can be separated, clearly understood and reasoned; Descartes, a western philosopher, famously said, "I saw" and "I thought, therefore I am". This is what I'm talking about. Most people regard this consciousness as "true self". In the Shurangama Sutra, Ananda thought so at the beginning. Even a teacher of ancient Dade held "the heart is the Buddha" all his life (later, the founder of Zhenwu once rated it as "the wrong star"), and probably held this "Qingming" consciousness as his true self.

Secondly, this conscious mind is born and died in an instant, except in five places (completely dead, indecisive, dying, sleeping without dreams, boring), and other moments are constantly dividing various methods; Even the manifestation, meditation and intimacy of the yogi in meditation are all manifestation; Because the conscious mind can be aware at all times, it can be aware without the seven points in the Shurangama Sutra. Therefore, all sentient beings are true to this consciousness, and they are very firm and have no doubt; In the Shurangama Sutra, the Buddha directly said to Ananda, "I am crazy at this time." Ananda's reaction was fear.

Habit:

The problem of habit, regardless of the level of intimacy; One kind of righteousness refers to the seventh knowledge and the last knowledge; This knowledge is actually the "I hold" that ordinary people are masters everywhere and keep climbing; Although the sixth consciousness knows what to do and what not to do; If the seventh consciousness doesn't make decisions and orders, the "actions" of body, mouth and heart can't appear now; Just like "attempted crime", however, the seventh consciousness has poor resolution, and it takes consciousness to know the realm of five dusts; The seventh knowledge is the "meaning root" of the six roots, removing habits and making the six roots clean; The most important thing is to get rid of the habit of greed, anger and ignorance; In this sense, practice is to convince the seventh knowledge with the correct knowledge of the sixth knowledge until the seventh knowledge gradually removes pollution and makes decisions with "pure thoughts"; For example, quit smoking, be vegetarian, be friendly to others, respect everyone and so on. It should be pointed out that chanting Buddha is a typical practice method to remove pollution such as greed, anger and delusion with pure thoughts; I have been studying Buddhism for a long time. When the seventh consciousness is a teacher and climbs, the current name is the name of Buddha. In this way, even at the end of life, the conscious mind is broken, and the seventh knowledge is immortal (the seventh knowledge comes and goes for three generations, and Nirvana is completely broken except for a part that is unintentionally broken; This is different from consciousness; Therefore, there will always be a "constant" body), still chanting Buddha; Therefore, the Buddha received lead. In this case, please refer to the Shurangama Sutra (the general trend of chanting Buddha Tong Yuan): "All take six, and the net thoughts come and go, and enter samadhi."

The second meaning of habit is that the seeds of habit are collected in our true hearts-the eighth kind of knowledge, Araya knowledge; The eighth knowledge is immortal, when it is over; Everywhere; Various laws can be born unconsciously; Enlighten and understand the heart, and it is this heart that is clear; The "mind" and "knowledge" mentioned in "Idealism in Three Realms, Knowledge of All Laws" are the eighth knowledge; Also known as truth, Tathagata, Dharma Body, the reality of various laws, self-nature, true colors, mind and so on.

The eighth knowledge, as the Heart Sutra says, is "unclean"; With its collection of all good and bad karma from the beginning, it is unclear; Because of its nature, it is never polluted and often self-cleaning, so it is not dirty. After enlightenment, the content of cultivation after enlightenment is to cultivate the karma hidden in the eighth truth; The practice at this time is called "practical operation". Complete pruning is to reach the Buddha's land. "Shurangama Sutra" says: "The great hero is strong and kind, and I hope to judge and remove the doubts." It is this "dust and sand confusion" that is removed after enlightenment.

Finally, the landlord said, "I am used to being born, sick and dead. No matter whether you change it or not, don't be persistent." This sentence is wrong.

The problem of habit is explained above, all saints need pruning; Without pruning, it will not die; Will only accumulate more and more; This can only be eliminated by "receiving newspapers". And there are countless kinds of this industry. "If there is a body, vanity is not allowed" ("Samantabhadra Bodhisattva Wish"); So since the robbery, we have been reincarnated six times. The "non-persistence" mentioned here is only a psychological suggestion; No foothold, no strength; Nothing more than laziness. I'm just a delusion on the level of consciousness and mind. I said "I'm not persistent" and "I don't remember", which is exactly what my father said: "Working in a ghost hole". Ordinary people don't break, I see I hold; If you say that you have achieved great success.

May the landlord believe in Mahayana classics, make a fool of himself, and die in Jaken.
