After studying the course "Teaching Research and Case Analysis of "Fractions, Decimals and Percents" in Primary School Mathematics", I would like to talk about some of my immature points in the "Case Display" of "Understanding Percents" From my perspective, the main content of this lesson is the meaning of percentages. Percents are taught on the basis that students have learned integers, decimals and fractions, especially solving the problem of "finding what fraction of a number is another number" , in teaching, we should start from the actual life of students, adopt the strategy of students' independent inquiry as the mainstay, and the teacher's guidance as the supplement, so that students can perceive in life examples, discover through active thinking, and understand the meaning of percentages in specific applications. Mainly reflected in the following aspects:
1. Start with things that students are interested in and mobilize students' interest in learning
I use Yao Ming, a character that students are familiar with and like, in the NBA. The related statistical data of free throw shooting percentage was introduced into the topic. The percentage was introduced during the activity of students in this class to compare who has a better shooting ability. At this time, the students have vaguely realized that the percentage means that one number is another number. A fraction of a number is a fraction whose denominator is 100 for the purpose of comparison. This not only reflects the coherence of knowledge, but also allows students to initially understand the meaning of percentages and the benefits of using percentages when comparing data
2. Closely connect with life and understand the meaning of percentages
Percents are knowledge that is frequently used in daily production and life. Although students do not formally know percentages, they do not know anything about them. Therefore, before class, I ask students to investigate percentages in life, so that students can experience the wide application of percentages in life, realize the personal significance of knowledge, and play a good role in stimulating intrinsic learning motivation. In this class, I directly use the data and questions surveyed by students as the objects of study and research. Students understand percentages in the process of understanding and interpreting the data surveyed by themselves and their classmates.
