Zhang Zai (1020— 1077 65438+ February 6th), with a thick word, was known as Mr. Hengqu in the world and was born in Fengxiang County (now Hengqu Town, Meixian County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province). One of the thinkers, educators and founders of Neo-Confucianism in the Northern Song Dynasty.
In the tenth year of Xining in Song Shenzong (1077), Zhang Zai died in Lintong at the age of 58. Respect Zhang Zi as a saint, and worship thirty-eight people in the west of Confucius Temple. Together with Zhou Dunyi, Shao Yong, Cheng Yi and Cheng Hao, it is called "the fifth son of the Northern Song Dynasty". He is the author of Zhengmeng, Yi Shuo of Hengqu, Confucian Classics, Zhang Zi's Quotations, Anthology and so on. Later generations compiled Zhang Ziquan's Book.
