Jiuzhaigou is located in Zhangzha Town, Jiuzhaigou County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in the south section of Minshan Mountain in northwest Sichuan, and in the northeast of Gongganling in the south section of Minshan Mountain. More than 400 kilometers away from Chengdu, it is a large branch ditch at the source of Baishui River in the upper reaches of Jialing River in the Yangtze River system. Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve is high in the south and low in the north, with deep valleys and wide height difference. Jiuzhaigou mouth on the northern edge is only 2000 meters above sea level, with peaks in the middle above 4000 meters, and the southern edge above 4500 meters. The main ditch is more than 30 kilometers long.
Jiuzhaigou is a world natural heritage, a national key scenic spot, a national AAAAA tourist area, a national nature reserve, a national geological park and a network of world biosphere reserves. It is also the first nature reserve in China with the main purpose of protecting natural scenery.

There are 108 Haizi in springs, waterfalls, rivers and beaches, which constitute a colorful jade basin in Yaochi. The six landscapes of Changhai, Jianyan, Nuorilang, Shuzheng, Zharu and Black Sea are distributed in a "Y" shape. Cuihai, Waterfalls, Colorful Forests, Xuefeng, Tibetan Love and Lan Bing are called "Six Wonders". The magical Jiuzhai village is known as "fairy tale world" and "king of waterscape".
