Guo Shengli was a heroic man who loved charity and gave generously to anyone who came to ask for calligraphy or painting, and was rarely tacky. Because of his willingness to help others, his living room is often crowded with guests. From the 1990s to 2005, when Guo Shengli was responsible for calligraphy and painting art work at the People's Daily reporter station in Shaanxi, relying on the influence of the People's Daily and his personality, we hosted many calligraphy and painting pen meetings, and provincial and municipal leaders Masters and famous calligraphers and painters were invited to attend. One year, An Qiyuan, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, even came to attend the meeting. Look around, be filial to those above, and be kind to others. These are Guo Shengli's principles as a man, as a son, and as a father. But to his 89-year-old mother, he will always be a child. Since his mother's 60th birthday, he has organized birthday celebrations for her every year. On May 26, 2004, his mother celebrated her 80th birthday. Figure painting master Liu Wenxi and his wife Chen Guangjian came to the birthday banquet to congratulate her and presented her with calligraphy and painting works. Liu Wenxi said: Guo Shengli is a very filial son. Just because he is a filial son, I am very willing to associate with him. I will try my best to participate in any invitation he invites. That birthday banquet coincided with the Buddha's birthday. I attended the Buddha's finger relics from Famen Temple and went to Hong Kong for an interview. I was unable to attend the meeting. The Buddha's light shines all over Chang'an Road, and the loving mother nurtures and strengthens the body. Eighty years of spring, summer, autumn and winter, bitter, spicy, sour and sweet, ten thousand years of grace.
