I have been practicing efficiency management for some time, and some of my feelings have been compiled into two articles. The first article is "Open the door, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant". It reviews the many changes and countless changes in the 60 days of practicing efficiency management. A small blessing; the second article is "Stick to this road, spring flowers bloom", reflecting on some difficulties encountered in the practice process, especially overcoming the burnout period, and confidence in long-term practice!
In fact, I have always paid more attention to time management and efficiency improvement. Although I bought some books in this area, they were all intermittently and I had never studied them systematically, let alone practiced them systematically. Later, I was fortunate enough to be exposed to Teacher Ye’s time management. Later, I met Coach Haiming online and entered the effectiveness community. Only then did the effectiveness practice "passively" begin. Later I realized: "Learning the effectiveness management theory only opens a window, but practicing the theory opens a door; when you open this door, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant."
In fact, everything we experience may go through such a process: try~accept~change~identify~share~sublimate!
My effectiveness practice starts from getting up early, and then I open the door to effectiveness and enjoy the singing of birds and the fragrance of flowers.
If you insist on getting up early, you can enjoy the freshness and calmness of the morning every day, and feel the small universe in your heart! Waking up early boosts confidence and inspires enthusiasm for starting more new modes!
1. Open the efficiency magic box and experience constant surprises:
Turn on the tomato stewed frog mode and prioritize first things
Turn on the morning exercise mode and talk to your body every day A love affair
Turn on the reading mode and make progress together with various reading masters
Start the morning diary - daily reflection and dialogue with your own soul
< p> 2. Explore carefully and find the treasure house of efficiency. This opened the efficiency magic box and stimulated my interest in time management, so I further extensively dabbled in related knowledge. I found that there are many such learning sharings on the Internet, which is like opening a treasure house, and all kinds of knowledge are shining brightly, waiting for you to discover.
I have always believed that keeping a diary is a good habit, as it can not only reflect and summarize every day, but also practice writing. But there is often an insurmountable barrier between "thinking" and "action". I have always stayed at one end of the barrier, unable to conflict. Even if I occasionally act, it is only three days of fishing and two days of drying the net, with no results. But after the efficiency door is opened, these seem to be no longer problems. After finding good tools and methods, starting up becomes a matter of course.
It really doesn’t take more than a few minutes just to sort out the key points every day. But I added a sub-column for myself called "Reflections on Experiences". There is no limit to the length. Every day, I briefly reflect on the experience of the day and record it. In the first two or three days, I still found it a bit difficult to keep writing, because there may not be something worth summarizing every day. But after actually persisting for a week, I found that as long as I live each day seriously, there must be something worth reflecting on, and as long as I reflect, I will find that there are new things and new gains every day!
I suddenly felt that isn’t meditation just reflection and summary? I just embodied meditation and made it literal. The process of writing is more conducive to the organization of thinking and makes it more systematic.
I was reading the book "Study Well" written by Cheng A in the past few days, and I had a similar feeling: to improve the effectiveness of reading, it is not simply to pursue the speed and quantity of reading, but to spend time processing information and recording. Take reading notes and experiences and connect them with your existing knowledge. In this way, over time, we will be able to habitually ask more why questions, and then discover the rules or patterns with universal guiding significance behind the questions, that is, establish our "critical knowledge". Life is limited, don’t waste your limited life in those “low-level diligence traps”.
After turning on the efficacy, my mind became more open-minded. Inspired by my friends, I thought that I should take my children to the challenge of crossing the Gobi or desert, and planned a long-distance trip with my children to Chishui, Guizhou during the Dragon Boat Festival. Ride.
This kind of plan suddenly reminded me that my daughter’s 18th birthday is still short of a coming-of-age ceremony worth remembering for a lifetime, and this kind of challenge is the best coming-of-age ceremony! In fact, during this period, I took her to participate in effectiveness learning. Under the guidance of professionals such as Teacher Ye and Coach Haiming, she has found the golden key to a future effectiveness life. I believe that with continued practice in the future, she will definitely be successful in the future. Very exciting! A few years later, when we look back at the age of 18, we believe that this is the best coming-of-age ceremony!
There are many sharing sessions and reading clubs organized by the performance community, and I often receive a lot of small blessings! For example, I wrote in my diary at the end of last month:
The recent gains have been explosive: last Sunday's sharing meeting "Meditation", last Wednesday's sharing meeting "Unity of Knowledge and Action", last Thursday's reading meeting " "Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" and the Sunday sharing session "Parents are their children's best teachers, good habits will benefit them throughout their lives". It was found that people start training their children's effectiveness from early childhood and establish time management ideas from kindergarten. .. ...and Coach Guo's "Quality of Life Inventory"
In addition, I also participated in several class sharings. The theme of one class meeting was "Meditation", and I was invited to share it. , although I didn’t understand “meditation” at all, but I was deeply interested in it, so I took the opportunity to learn and understand it. After learning it, I really felt its magic. Such as the wonderful picture painted in Coach Haiming's sharing:
Once on a plane, I finally finished reading the book "Wake Up at Four O'Clock" that I had delayed for several days. In fact, it only took an hour and a half. I gained a lot after reading it. I also realized this: in fact, reading does not require special time. Even if you only have half an hour of fragmented time, you can read a lot of content. The key is to start at any time, as Teacher Ye said, "a bad beginning, a good ending."
At that time, I happened to see a sentence shared by Coach Kang Shuai: The farthest distance in the world is the distance between "thinking" and "getting", because there is a "doing" that is separated by thousands of rivers and mountains. You have to get into the water first to know how deep the water is; you have to walk first to know whether you can run. There are so many important things, just think about them and forget about them. There are also many important things that can be accomplished just by doing them.
Teacher Ye mentioned the intersection of the three circles of goal selection: happiness, advantage, and meaningfulness; I established the union of the three circles of effective life for myself: the effectiveness circle, the reading circle, and the fitness circle. Union promotes balanced development of body and mind.
Teacher Ye proposed an altitude of 50,000 meters, and I established a sea, land and air system for myself: land - means work and wealth; sea - means leisure and health; high altitude - means dreams.
The effectiveness community strongly encourages sharing. In addition to its classic saying "If it is not recorded, it does not happen", some friends put forward another sentence "If it is not spoken, it does not happen"! Sharing in the community includes sharing in class meetings every Wednesday and Sunday morning from 6 to 7 a.m.; sharing in reading clubs every Thursday morning; and each week the group also agrees that one person will share every day.
Sharing itself is a kind of happiness, giving roses to others will leave a lingering fragrance in your hands.
Sharing is conducive to better learning, that is, "teaching as learning".
Sharing helps inspire thinking and motivates us to move forward, that is, "A person can go very fast, but a group of people can go far."
In group sharing, we often inspire each other and benefit a lot. If some team members shared that they encountered some problems in the process of practice, such as Eryao mentioning "I don't understand how the inner driving force disappears," this triggered my discussion on driving force, which was later organized and formed. An article "Three Levels of Driving Force"; another time Eryao shared "On My Attitude towards Effectiveness", which triggered a discussion. The discussion content included: individual differences and diversity of methods; any learning and methods are It is not a magical medicine, it all needs to be tailored to local conditions and needs to be tailored; we also need to learn in the same dimension and adopt a variety of methods to choose the one that suits us best, and at the same time, we can also integrate a variety of knowledge...
During the group sharing, some students mentioned "self-discipline", which reminded me of Keep's slogan - "Self-discipline gives me freedom", which in turn triggered my thoughts on self-discipline and freedom. Freedom without self-discipline is self-indulgence. Those plans and goals that we have vowed to make seem to have fallen by the wayside, what should we do? The answer is simple: start now, start with small things, and make changes little by little.
As for myself, I continued to think, share, and grow, and published some sharing articles in the past 60 days, including:
01 "From Time Management to Performance Management"< /p>
02 "Effectiveness management starts with practice"
03 "Effectiveness practice starts from getting up early" 04 "From imitation to skills, from form to spirit, focusing on balanced development 》
05 "Start the morning diary and reflect every day"
06 "Three levels of driving force"
07 "From tranquility to wisdom, realize The Beauty of Balance"
There are also articles that are about to be published and are to be published:
08 "Open this door, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant"
09 "Be firm on this road, Spring is warm and flowers are blooming"
10"Three circles achieve a positive life"
11"The beauty of mechanics in efficient life"
.....
Effectiveness learning will end, but practice will not end, thinking will always continue, and sharing will last forever!
