Xiao Chunv (1893~1927)
One of the founders of the Communist Party of China. His original name was Shulie. His scientific name is Chu Ru and his courtesy name is Qiu. A native of Hanyang, Hubei Province. Joined the Hubei New Army in 1911. In October of the same year, he actively participated in the Revolution of 1911. In 1919, he participated in the May 4th Movement in Wuhan. In 1920, he joined Liqun Publishing House and ***cun Society, began to accept Marxism, and together with Yun Daiying initiated the organization of the Chinese Socialist Youth League. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1922 and later edited "Xin Shu News". In 1924, he led the work of the Socialist Youth League in Chongqing and the revolutionary work in Sichuan as a special commissioner of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. After arriving in Shanghai in 1925, he successively edited the "Federation of Industry and Commerce Daily" and "China Youth" and actively participated in the May 30th Movement. After arriving in Guangzhou in 1926, he edited the "Political Weekly" and served as a member of the Central Peasant Movement Committee of the Kuomintang, a full-time teacher of the Sixth Peasant Movement Workshop, and a political instructor of the Huangpu Military Academy. He was arrested during the April 12 coup in 1927 and killed in the same year. He is the author of "History of China's National Revolutionary Movement", "National Revolution and the Communist Party of China", "History of Imperialist Invasion of China", etc.
