The wisdom of the rich
There is a rich man in the Acropolis. He is very fat and sick all over. One day, he went to the Jingshe to ask the Buddha for advice: "Buddha! I suffer from the inconvenience of being fat and bloated. I am not only depressed and sleepy all day, but also feel pain whenever I move. " The Buddha asked, "Do you want to know the reason why you are sick?" "yes! Buddha! Please have mercy. " Buddha said, "You are so fat and sick today for five reasons. First, you have a rich diet. Second, snooze. Third, there is no excessive enjoyment of labor. Fourth, do nothing all day. 5. Nothing to do. So you should control your diet, work hard, develop your potential and wisdom, and be a person who is beneficial to the country and society. If you can do as I say, you will be able to cure the disease and prolong your life. " The rich follow the instructions of the Buddha. After a while, he lost weight, refreshed and looked much younger. One day, he went to see the Buddha on foot without a servant or a carriage: "Buddha!" " You cured me of my physical illness, and now I'm here to ask Buddhism for a recipe for my enlightenment. "The Buddha said," Mediocrity nourishes the body and wisdom nourishes the soul. If a person only knows how to satisfy his appetite, he is digging his own grave. If you go the right way, you will not only be free, but also live longer. "The Buddha is really a saint who knows the world and can understand and understand all kinds of things in the world. Buddha's wisdom of treating obesity, strengthening the body and nourishing the heart for the rich is like a deafening medicine for people who suffer from overnutrition but are poor in mind.
