Zhang Qian: Zi Ziwen, a native of Chenggu, Hanzhong County, was an outstanding diplomat, traveler, explorer and pioneer of the Silk Road in the Han Dynasty in China.

In the second year of Jianyuan, that is, in 139 BC, under the orders of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty, with Gan's father as the guide, he led more than 1 people to the western regions, and opened the north-south road leading to the western regions in the Han Dynasty, that is, the famous Silk Road.
