I eat 300 lychees every day, and I will grow up as a Lingnan native."

Translation: The Four Seasons Under the Luofu Mountain It's spring, and loquats and yellow plums are fresh every day. If I eat 300 lychees a day, I would like to live in Lingnan forever.

The last two sentences express the poet's optimistic, open-minded and happy-go-lucky spirit even though he was demoted to Huizhou. They also express his love for the scenery of Lingnan.
