Supplementary information: 1. Confucius said: "Isn't it true to say that one learns and practices from time to time? Isn't it a joy to have friends come from afar? Isn't it true that a person who doesn't know but is stunned is not a gentleman?"

2. Zengzi said: "I have to examine myself three times in a day: Have I been unfaithful in my plans for others? Have I not trusted my friends in my dealings? Have I not been accustomed to preaching?"

3. Confucius said: " When I was fifteen, I was determined to learn; when I was thirty, I was established; when I was forty, I was not confused; when I was fifty, I knew the destiny; when I was sixty, my ears were attuned; when I was seventy, I followed my heart's desires without going beyond the rules."

4. The Master said. : "Those who review the past and learn the new can become a teacher."

5. Confucius said: "Learning without thinking is in vain; thinking without learning is peril."

6. Confucius said: "It is a virtuous person to return home, with a basket of food and a ladle of drink. In a back alley, people cannot bear their worries, and they will not change their happiness when they return. It is a virtuous person to return home."

7. The Confucius said: "Those who know well are not as good as those who are good, and those who are good are not as good as those who are happy."

8. The Master said: "If you eat sparingly and drink water, and bend your arms and rest your head on it, you will also enjoy it. Unjust Wealth and honor are like floating clouds to me."

9. The Master said: "If you are a person, you must have my teacher. Choose the good ones and follow them, and change the bad ones."

10. Confucius said on the river: "The deceased is like a man! He did not give up day and night."

11. Confucius said: "Three armies can seize the commander, but an ordinary man cannot seize the will."

12. Zi Xia said: "Erudition and sincerity, asking questions and thinking closely, this is where benevolence lies.
