I grow up through setbacks
"A brave man sees setbacks as a ladder to success, while a weak man sees them as a stumbling block." I can't remember which philosopher's famous saying this is. If you ask why we are allowed to suffer setbacks, I would say: "Frustrations are for us to grow. When we overcome all kinds of setbacks and look back on the road ahead, we will be pleasantly surprised to find that we have grown up..."
When we begin to learn to walk, our young minds are so frightened and curious! When we wanted to explore this wonderful world at our own pace, we fell. But when we muster the courage to stand up again and again, we fall again and again. After several twists and turns, our faltering steps became stable and solid. When we were in kindergarten, how could we, the flowers growing up in the arms of our relatives, bear it! When we walk into this strange place and look at the departing figures of our family members, we always cry sadly for a while, but gradually we understand that this is a meaningless struggle. At this time, we learned to adapt and how to live in this environment. Isn't this growing up in frustration?
When I was in elementary school, everything changed again. This is no longer a world for peers. There are brothers and sisters who are much older than us, and the teachers are not as kind as the uncles and aunts in kindergarten. The teacher's face always has an inexplicable dignity. We often receive small punishments from teachers for doing wrong questions and pronouncing wrong words. At this time, we will try to communicate with the teacher. Finally, we discovered their kindness and friendliness. After discovering their kindness, they gradually adapted to it. At this time, we have taken a small step on the road of growth...
We are in junior high school. After experiencing various setbacks in childhood, we finally took a step forward on the road of growth... Solid steps. However, at this time, we are facing a greater test. Sometimes failures in various exams will not knock us down, we will not be discouraged, but will catch up. If we are criticized by the teacher, we will no longer be angry with the teacher, but sum up the experience and learn lessons. Especially in the busy third grade of junior high school, we have reached a crossroads in life. Test after test, exam after exam, failure after failure brought me setbacks again and again. But in this last precious year, we have become more and more courageous with every setback. It can be said accurately that our growth path is full of setbacks, and growth requires setbacks, because only by constantly overcoming the setbacks and difficulties in front of us can we go further and further on the road of growth, and the better we go.
Growth is actually inseparable from setbacks. If you regard setbacks as stumbling blocks and deliberately avoid them every time, then even if you reach your twilight years, you have not really grown up.
Let the setbacks grow with us in the future of life! Remember, growth requires setbacks.
