Wang Yangming's achievement-ability to handle affairs is affirmative; Wang Yangming's psychology is derogatory. Of course, Zeng Guofan's cognition of the derogatory meaning of psychology is not an isolated case. This is the "conclusion" that the secular world developed from different angles and different interest levels after Wang Yangming's death. Wang Yangming's point of view is to stand on the opposite side of Zhu and shake the foundation of some Confucianism. In addition, the students who studied psychology later changed their feelings and psychology, gradually lost their form and disappeared. Therefore, compared with Chen Zhuli's theory of mind, the theory of mind is short-lived. Of course, the value of the theory of mind lies in correcting Wang Yangming's deviation in some directions of Confucianism in the late Ming Dynasty. Zeng Guofan is a master of Confucianism, so these two "doors" are not the same. In the late Qing Dynasty, the study of mind was less or about 0, so the school did not admire it very much, so the evaluation would not be too high.
Secondly, Zeng Guofan is a Datong school, and his articles are very particular about words and sentences. The words in Wang Yangming's article are full of Ningbo accent (I also like it), but they don't seem to be in tune with Zeng's. When you read their works, you will have a stronger feeling. Zeng's humor is completely different from Wang's humor, which is a bit like "Northern Crosstalk" and "Shanghai Crosstalk". They have different ways, different audiences and different requirements, but they should not be liked and respected.
Third, in terms of the harmony between the work of the parties and the environment at that time, it was far higher than Wang. Since ancient times, there have been many capable people. Not many talented people have good results. Wang is tired, s is over half, and he doesn't approve of going back if he wants to ask for leave. It can be seen that his leadership or organization is not against him, but it can also be said that it is not very supportive of him. Guo Ziyi, Han Yu (I don't understand) and Ouyang Xiu were the people who once spoke highly of him. I was able to die of natural causes. This "goodness" not only died of natural causes, but also enjoyed his honor when he was alive, and then naturally became ill. Throughout the ages, such senior officials are rare.
Therefore, based on the above three aspects, I think Wang has not been highly praised.
