For example, in the class of "Map Concept", I first played some geographical photos and maps with multimedia to let students compare: "What are the similarities and differences between maps and ordinary photos?" At this time, students will speak actively, and the explanation of the three elements of the map (direction, scale and legend notes) will come naturally, and students' interest in learning will reach a climax.

The teaching process is not a process of mechanically transplanting knowledge from one mind to another, but a process of spiritual contact and communication between teachers and students. For example, the folk song "Wear fur coat in the morning, wear gauze in the afternoon, eat watermelon around the stove" is quoted to explain the characteristics of large temperature difference in continental climate in northwest China, which is vivid and infectious. Speaking of Inner Mongolia, we use the beautiful artistic conception of "blue sky and white clouds floating, horses running under white clouds" to understand the vastness and magnificence of temperate grasslands. This kind of teaching can stimulate students' strong interest in learning. At the same time, some interesting stories are interspersed in geography teaching according to the teaching content, which can not only deepen the understanding of basic concepts and principles, but also be lively and interesting and enhance students' interest in learning geography. For example, when teaching the chapter "The Earth is in the Universe", it is difficult for students to understand the concept of "the Universe", and the teacher only needs to tell the story of the Monkey King's somersault, and then ask "Has the Monkey King reached the horizon? Combining this knowledge, I took the students out of the classroom and guided them to observe carefully to understand the tourism resources in Maguan Town and its surrounding areas where the school is located. Let the students know that there are scenic spots around us, such as Huangguoshu Waterfall, Dragon Palace, Zhijin Dajidong, Puding Chuandong and Yelang Lake. There are simple and elegant mountains and rivers (commonly known as "three mountains, one pavilion and one village") such as Yuzhen, Tianlong Mountain, Xia Feng, Wenchang Pavilion and Hao Yun Villa, as well as magical and beautiful tourism resources. How to develop the tourism resources of these hometowns? Many students speak boldly in combination with what they have learned, and the effect is very good. I guided them in time to realize that a lot of geographical knowledge is around, which is very practical. They are required to develop good study habits of reading more books, asking more questions and thinking more.
