A set of uniquely creative prose
——Reading notes of Wu Xinru’s prose "The Poetry of Everyday Things"
Jia Baoquan
More than ten I haven't been able to read Xin Ru's prose in 2016, but I feel quite excited after reading it this time.
What impressed me strongly about the collection of prose "The Poetry of Everyday Things" is the blend of poetry and philosophy. The text is essentially scattered poetry, and when reading it should be avoided by inadvertently mistaking it for ordinary prose. Leading the Chinese characters to be organized into such a formation, the author occupies a higher position in the spiritual realm, so the work shows a free and relaxed "high", a controlled and appropriate "release", and a pity for the Chinese characters. "Jane" is tired and used as little as possible after thousands of years of continuous attacks. It is pure thought. It has been elevated to a certain height in the metaphysical realm and has its own altitude. It points to one's own soul. Although it comes with a challenging posture, it has no idea of ????challenging itself. The text arrangement is rich but simple, quiet and bright, and curved but clear. The thoughts are dense and dense, but they have overflowed beyond the words, as if they were deliberately released as fish that "slip through the net". Several short chapters each have their own merits, and "Cup" is uniquely emotional - it compares a cup to a bird, which is novel and unique; the depth of the shadows of the water-filled and non-water-filled parts of the cup can be seen from the depth of the observation; "Even if one is empty "The cup is also born for water." The originally inanimate cup now came to life, and immediately showed kindness and sincerity, showing mission concern; and "the emptiness in the cup bubbled up slightly", this is The "empty" is strongly materialized. The "empty" in the cup must break out of the inner wall of the cup and merge with the "solid" outside.
I attach great importance to this because it has touched upon the philosophical propositions of "emptiness is reality" and "the world is not empty". The "emptiness" of philosophy is also a material existence, and the "nothing" of philosophy is not absolute nothing. This is secretly consistent with Laozi's "Tao".
Finally, the cup "gives the same reflection to different drinkers and gazers, giving them the same brilliance in their daily lives", which embodies the cup's awareness that all living beings are equal and treat everyone equally. To put it in a high level, this is Buddha nature.
I am reminded of a wise saying by Hegel that is somewhat like the wise words of an Eastern sage: "Opposite things pair up in pairs to form the rhythm of life." If we continue to advance from a philosophical standpoint, we will deduce the ancient Greek A. Naksidman's enlightenment: "The thing from which all things arise, and the return of all things to it after their destruction, is determined by fate." Therefore, emptiness and reality, because they exist together, must not exist at the same time. This may contain the material order understood by the writer Xinru.
The so-called "The place of entry is the exit. The constant entry is the exit" in "Bookshelf" also refers to understanding. People's knowledge must go in and out, the understanding of the heart must go in and out, and the storage of bookshelf must go in and out at the same time. Since the good ones have "come in", the inferior ones should "go out" on their own. The beautiful sentences are like scattered beads, appearing in every chapter. They are sparkling. If you carry a lantern and walk around, they will shine by themselves. Each short chapter has left a "core", which will be able to germinate and grow again in the future with the help of nectar and wind. During the creation process of these works, there must be repeated consideration and competition, so after completion, the writer seems to have climbed a tall old tree, and his hands and heart are tired. Even if it is only slightly higher than ordinary works, it is the result of accumulated hard work. It is difficult for the latter to be equal to it without working hard.
I should thank the author, because I heard the text itself solemnly declare: skillfully using the mother tongue, concise writing, honest rhetoric, and making the truth concrete for the sake of profound meaning... This is true in any era and in any region. Yes.

"The Wilderness" is a blockbuster
——Interpretation of Wu Xinru's long poem "The Wilderness" "
Chen Yuejun
Except for the long epic "Gesar", Wu Xinru's long poem "The Wilderness" is the longest poem I have ever read. I wandered in "The Wilderness", savoring every line of poetry and prose, and feeling a child's deep love for the wilderness, life, and life. In more than three thousand lines of spiritual solo, Xinru created a world of history, reality, future, beauty, cruelty, temptation, hope, disappointment, despair, sweetness, bitterness and the only one. Time and space, this kind of time and space makes people linger and ponder, and makes people fascinated and intoxicated.
Slowly opening from the overture to "Variations of Love", "Book of Time", "Falling October", "South, South", "The Story of the Stone", and "Rising October" , "Memorial Day", "Fief", "Flora", "Chronicles of Changchun Lane", "Exodus from Luoling", "Through Dreamland", to the finale, we seem to be enjoying a blockbuster movie, constantly The interlacing of time and space and the constant changing of scenes are endlessly memorable.
The poet Xinru is undoubtedly the director of this blockbuster. Xinru uses the interweaving of scene reproduction and three-dimensionality to depict a wilderness that spans the East and the West, traverses ancient times and modern times, and transcends dreams and reality.
This is the wilderness of reality, but also the wilderness of poetry and art. It exudes poetic light everywhere: "You only see rose petals/It is the wavering flame/It is the slight hesitation of the death knell. The ringing / is the soft ashes that are about to be extinguished / is the cloud that is being confiscated by the haze..." The rose petals we see are rose petals, or we think of beautiful love, but what the poet sees is the hesitant heart, It is a desperate emotion and a struggling love. With a pair of sharp eyes, the poet saw the unique magnificence in all the unbearable circumstances in life.
This is the wilderness of philosophy. The first chapter of "The Wilderness", "Variations of Love", raises a very interesting question: "Is love a butterfly or a fly?" In the eyes of ordinary people, love must be a butterfly, because people "all like butterflies/hate flies." But the poet believes that the butterfly is much loved, and its life is beautiful but fragile, while the flies "sing every day/their green heads like greedy/little suns, their collective chorus/have happiness voice and never-tiring/strength”, therefore, “My dear/perhaps a fly, not a butterfly/bearing all this suffering -/indifference, suspicion, abuse/even the chilling/destruction… …”
This is the wilderness of wisdom. I know that the poet's loneliness is due to awe and belief: awe of the universe, awe of life, and belief in truth, goodness, beauty, and love. "Keep fear in your arms/You will see the traffic lights clearly/You will know zebra crossings/You will make friends with safety/The blue sky and white clouds will become your talisman." Only when you know fear can you know how to abide by the rules, and then you can move forward bravely and reach the destination. the other side. Many poems in "The Wilderness" contain wonderful philosophical thoughts, exude the light of wisdom, and enlighten our lives. We have reason to believe that the poems in "The Wilderness", such as "Winter is the best time to set out. If you have to wait until spring, it will be too late" may become inspirational quotes in a few years, educating and encouraging another generation. a generation.
This is still the wilderness of novelists. Time, place, characters, and plots are all included, one story after another, making the book exciting and exciting to read. This is the wilderness for each of us. We can always find our own shadow between the lines. Inadvertently opening our memories, a feeling of déjà vu comes to us, as if it is something we have participated in or known. A certain person, a certain period of love and hatred. This kind of empathy and intimacy makes people have an impulse, that is, through reading and participation, they can be lucky enough to become a word or a paragraph in this long poem, and together with it, they can compose an eternal and most beautiful swan song.
Such multiple perspectives, large-scale scenes, and in-depth presentations make "The Wilderness" have the characteristics of an epic, shocking world, and weeping ghosts and gods. This novel, a rare novel in the history of new Chinese poetry, will surely win respect and support from generations of readers.
