Zeng Guofan's 16-character life is to conform to things, not to meet in the future, not to be mixed at that time, not to love. The literal meaning of this sentence is that if you don't care, don't take the initiative to seek without worrying too much, which will only increase your troubles; When things come, you are single-minded and have no distractions. When things are over, don't think about it. Missing will only slow down the progress of your work.

Born in Heye Town, Shuangfeng County, Hunan Province, he was a scholar in the 18th year of Daoguang (1838), joined the Imperial Academy, was a pupil of Mu Zhang, Minister of Military Aircraft, and moved to the Cabinet with a bachelor's degree, assistant minister of rites, assistant minister of military, industrial, criminal and official departments, and became close friends with university students such as Woren and He Guizhen of Huining Road. At ordinary times, I feel that politics is lax, and I advocate learning from Neo-Confucianism.
