To use bookmarks, first insert bookmarks into the document, as shown below:
(1) Click the location to bookmark, or select a paragraph of text to bookmark.
(2) Click the bookmark menu item in the Insert menu,
(3) Under the book post, type or select the book post.
(4) Click the Add button to add bookmarks to the document.
(5) If you want to use the hidden bookmarks built in Word, you can select the button of hidden bookmarks, and a series of bookmarks identified by letters and numbers will be listed, from which users can select a bookmark to insert in a new location. If there are many bookmarks, you can also choose the basis for sorting bookmarks: name or location.
note:
Select an existing bookmark and click the Add button. The bookmark in the original location will not exist, but the original bookmark will be inserted in the new location.
Step 2 use bookmarks to locate
To use bookmarks to go to the specified location, just open the Bookmarks dialog box, select a book signature, and click the Locate button to go to the location of the book signature. Users can also use the Locate tab of the Find and Replace dialog box to locate. The specific method is as follows:
(1) Click the Locate menu item in the Edit menu to open the Find and Replace dialog box and automatically select the Locate tab.
(2) Select the bookmark item in the positioning target list box, and select the existing book signature in the drop-down list box below. Please enter the book signature, or you can directly enter the existing book signature.
(3) Click the locate button to go to the location of the bookmark.
3 Show bookmarks
Bookmarks can be displayed on the screen or hidden, depending on the user's preference.
To display bookmarks in a document, first click Options on the Tools menu, and then click the View tab.
In the display options group, select the bookmark check box, and the bookmark will be displayed on the screen. Bookmarks will display a square bracket on the screen. When printing, the square bracket number representing the bookmark will not be printed. If no text is selected when inserting a bookmark, the bookmark tag will be in one position and the two sides of the square brackets will intersect to form an "I" shape.
4 Delete bookmarks
If you no longer need bookmarks, you can easily delete them as follows:
(1) Click Bookmarks in the Insert menu to open the Bookmarks dialog box.
(2) Click the book signature to be deleted, and then click the Delete button.
In this way, the bookmark will be deleted, and all the text or other items related to the bookmark will not be changed.
If you want to Delete related text while deleting bookmarks, you can directly select the text containing bookmarks and press the delete key.
