Split volume: Contrary to merging partitions, the current partition will be split into two partitions. For example, as mentioned just now, many newly purchased brand-name machines have only one C drive on the hard disk. In this case, you can use the Split volume function to split the partition into two or more hard disk partitions.

Add mirror: Add a mirror. Most people don’t need this. After all, you have to use a space as large as the current partition for mirroring, so let’s stop.

At the same time, how much space is required from other partitions? Aren't they all going to come over? You can continue to check and set, keep free space on every volume (), for example, set it to 10, which will automatically reserve 10 of their space for other partitions, which is very humane.

For example, after the editor made the above settings, he "robbed" the available space from other partitions, so that the C drive has 51.93G available, instead of the previous poor 995K.

In this way, click on the arrow on the right side of the volume size on the left (looking diagonally upward), and you can allocate the 51.93G just plundered to the C drive.

Then click the "OK" button to proceed to the next step! Here is a question, what should you do if you only want to get the remaining space from a specified partition, such as the E drive?

It’s very simple. First select Resize volume on the E drive and reduce the size of the E drive by 10G (for example). Then the reduced 10G will become allocable hard disk space. At this time, resize the volume on the C drive, and all 10G can be added to the C drive.
