Chapter 37 of Tao Te Ching: Tao often does nothing.
I. Original text

Tao always does nothing and does everything.

If the marquis can keep it, everything will take care of itself.

I want to do this, and I will make this town unknown.

That nameless simplicity, my husband won't want it.

If you don't want to be quiet, the world is right.

Second, the analysis and summary of each family

1, what is Tao Te Ching talking about by Han Pengjie

Tao is an eternal law and rule. Can conform to nature, do not act rashly, do not overdo it, and do something wrong, so that "inaction" can produce better results than "promising". If the governors can stick to this truth, everything and the people can educate themselves and grow up. In this process, when desires and selfish distractions swell, the enlightened will restrain the thieves in their hearts with pure and kind thoughts. People who rule the world should set an example, be selfish and govern by doing nothing, and the world will be stable.

2. nan huaijin's "Old He Zi"

(1) "Tao often does nothing" is the body of "Tao"; "Inaction" is the aim of "Tao". Everything in the universe is used by Tao, so it does everything. Finally, there is stillness, so it is "inaction". Taoism is far-sighted, planned and prepared in advance, so it won't panic for the time being.

"Do everything" is not nonsense. So Lao Tzu went on to say, "If the prince of Hou can keep it, everything will be made by himself." Only those who do great things can understand this truth and grasp it. In fact, you know the truth of life, as long as you grasp inaction and really let go, don't be biased; What you want, it also enters inaction. That is the self-realization of everything.

If you want to do it, I'll turn the town into a nameless park. If you want to do it, I'll do it. If you think of a role in this pure inaction, you must know the truth of "use". When it is used, if it is inexhaustible, and "the town is an unknown park", it must always remain the same.

Lao Tzu went on to say, "nameless simplicity will make the husband have no desire." What is "nameless simplicity"? Is that you have no desire, no desire, no dependence. Therefore, Buddhism calls it "emptiness" and has nothing to ask for.

The words "don't want to be quiet, the world will decide" and "don't want to be quiet" are wonderful and can be interpreted in two ways. One explanation is that there is no desire at all, and if you are naturally calm, then "the world will decide for itself", so you are "unwilling" and naturally calm and have no desire. The second explanation is how to achieve "no desire", then you must calm down to truly achieve "no desire". Laozi and Zhuangzi's articles, like the words of Zen, are exquisite in all directions. One side can make sense, and the other side can make sense. This is the same reason.

Anyway, you have to be "unwilling to be quiet". First, you can lead an honest and clean life and do nothing, and then "the world will decide." The same is true of being a man, doing things and starting a business. If you are always in a hurry and crazy every day, you will succeed. I'm sorry, when it comes to final accounts, it just doesn't work. This is also the reason why the weak is stronger than the strong. If you can work hard and think for 10,000 years, the water will flow forever, asking for nothing in return, results and efforts, and you will succeed in the end.

3. Mr. Baiyun's Way of Laozi

(1) Tao often does nothing.

Tao always does nothing, Tao is in everything, born, born without livestock, walking without bias, long without killing. Everything without hesitation, teaching without words, is called inaction.

There is nothing wrong. Tao transports everything with deified power and makes everything exist naturally. Although we can't teach by example and not dominate, we are omnipresent, omnipotent and omnipotent, that is to say, omnipotent.

(2) If the marquis can keep it, everything will be made by himself.

If a person can adhere to the heaven, the teaching without words and the teaching of nature, everything will transform itself. Everything lives in the Tao, and everything is self-contained.

(3) I want to do it, I want to make the town nameless.

Tao transports the world, and everything is self-transforming. Wang Dezhi did not retreat, kept the Tao, divorced from the Tao and wanted to teach human nature. I, Lao tze call myself. I regard the town as a nameless park, sharing weal and woe, retiring from fame and talents, closing people's doors and guarding the exit of the road, calling it a nameless park.

(4) nameless simplicity will make her husband unwilling.

Only by starting from the king, practicing the teaching of nature and ruling the world with heaven can the people of the world naturally transform themselves. If the king knows the truth, the world will be at peace. The king is not stupid, and the people are not chaotic. The reason why people think about crooked ways all day is because the false and clever teaching of the rulers has corrupted the innocent and simple character of the people.

(5) If you don't want to be quiet, the world is right.

If you don't want it, you can't violate heaven, so saints don't educate the world with human wisdom and intelligence. Quiet, saints keep the way of virtual quiet, and people can survive only if they are deadlocked. The world is self-righteous, heaven and man are one, and everything is decided.

Third, my understanding-the so-called life is an energy flow.

This chapter is about letting go of inner desires, governing by doing nothing and conforming to nature. If you can do this, everything will naturally come close to you, so as to achieve a state of everything.

This passage reminds me of a word-"gas field".

Equipment suppliers are often invited to do technical exchanges at work, and sometimes many people come to a unit. But no matter how many people come, I can tell who is the leader, who is the salesman, who is the technology, who is the speaker and who is learning from them. I believe many people have had the experience that you can judge a person's role in a team just by feeling. We often use "aura" to describe this feeling. There is a strong popularity, some popularity is weak, some popularity is cold, and some popularity is moderate. Some popularity fields are very comfortable, some popularity fields are scary, and some popularity fields are uncomfortable.

But what is this "gas field"?

A week ago, I attended a book club, and a book friend said: The so-called life is actually an energy flow. This sentence suddenly woke me up. Yes, this "gas field" is the difference of life flow state. Some people are clear, some people are turbid, some people are warm, some people are sharp, some people are vigorous, and some people are indifferent. If we compare this life flow state to a river, some people are like clear and bright mountain springs, some people are like slow flowing streams, some people are like melodious rivers, some people are like rolling rivers, and some people are like waterfalls.

But no matter what kind of state, as long as it flows naturally, it will make people feel comfortable, even if some people are so popular that they are afraid, they will not be annoying; In contrast, if it is deliberately distorted, no matter what kind, it will make people feel uncomfortable or even annoying, such as being too modest, too polite, too enthusiastic, flattering, threatening, losing their temper and so on.

We will find that this deliberate distortion is mostly due to too many inner thoughts or too much desire for something, so the behavior has changed. Abnormal behavior makes people feel uncomfortable and will naturally stay away from you. Therefore, the more desires and thoughts you have, the less your life state can flow naturally, and the less your life energy will be.

On the contrary, if we want to get a steady stream of life energy, we need to let go of our inner desires and distractions and let life show a natural flow.
