In February 214, Yuzuru Hanyu, who was only 19 years old, won the gold medal in Sochi Winter Olympics and became the first men's single skating champion in Asia. In March, he won the World Figure Skating Championship and achieved the Grand Slam in the finals of the Olympic Games, World Championships and Grand Prix.
