Zou Yan (1915 ——), the founding major general of China People's Liberation Army, was party member, the producer of China. People from Xiaguang Village, Chongxian Township, Xingguo County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. He has served as deputy director of the Political Department of shenyang military area command, deputy political commissar, member of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of China, and representative of the 9th and 11th National Congresses of China Production Party. In 1955, he was awarded the rank of Major General.
