As of January 6, 2023, astronaut Liu Yang has been in space twice.
Liu Yang was born in Zhengzhou, Henan in 1978. Liu Yang once served as the deputy captain of a certain flying group of a certain division of the Air Force. He flew safely for 1,680 hours and was rated as a second-level pilot of the Air Force. In May 2010, he officially became the second batch of Chinese astronauts.
After more than two years of astronaut training, Liu Yang has completed training tasks in eight categories and dozens of subjects, including basic theory, aerospace environment adaptability, aerospace professional technology, flight procedures and mission simulation training, and Passed the comprehensive assessment of astronaut professional skills with outstanding results. In March 2012, he was selected as the flight crew of the Shenzhou-9 mission.
On June 16, 2012, Liu Yang entered space with the Shenzhou-9 spacecraft and entered the Tiangong-1 target aircraft. Liu Yang became China's first female astronaut in space.

In July 2012, Elephant Publishing House edited and published the book "Flying Chang'e Liu Yang". The book introduces Liu Yang's growth experience, interprets the influence of Liu Yang's parents on Liu Yang's family education and school teachers on Liu Yang's growth, and deciphers the little-known study, marriage and love stories of Liu Yang, the flying goddess Chang'e.
2. Postal Commemorative Envelope
On June 5, 2022, in order to commemorate the China Space Station Shenzhou 14 manned mission, China Philatelic Co., Ltd. specially issued the "China Space Station Shenzhou 10" Commemorative envelope of Manned Mission 4. The commemorative envelope shows the images of the three astronauts Chen Dong, Liu Yang and Cai Xuzhe who carried out the manned mission.
The commemorative envelope uses a personalized stamp with the main image of the Chinese flag. The attached image shows the heads of the three astronauts and is stamped with a postal date stamp to record the heroic deeds of the three astronauts who participated in the mission.
