Confession should conform to the facts, false confession should bear legal responsibility, and confession can be retracted, but only if it conforms to the facts. If it is inconsistent with the facts, it will bear the related adverse consequences. In the process of investigation, the public security will generally interrogate the facts of the case 2-3 times to confirm the authenticity of the confession. Therefore, once signed and confirmed, each copy of the criminal interrogation record shall not be modified and will be kept as evidence. However, if the suspect needs to be supplemented or revised in other aspects, it can be added to the new record at the next arraignment of the public security and procuratorial organs.

The record of inquiry shall be checked by the person being questioned; Read aloud for those who can't read. If there are omissions or errors in the record, the interviewee can supplement or correct them. After the person questioned confirms that the transcript is correct, he shall sign or seal it, and the people's police who inquire shall also sign the transcript.
If the person being questioned requests to provide written materials on the matters being questioned, it shall be allowed; When necessary, the people's police may also ask the person being questioned to write by himself.
When questioning a person under the age of 16 who violates the administration of public security, he shall notify his parents or other guardians to be present.
