I have been learning Japanese and teaching Japanese for a total of 10 years. Many learning methods and tips are forced by various types of students. From beginners to advanced, I will share them one by one:
1. The entry-level stage of using Chinese to contact Japanese
1. 50-sound notation
Suitable for the following people: Students with poor memory; students who are insensitive to unfamiliar symbols.
If you have any questions about Japanese learning, welcome to join my Japanese learning circle, check the signature for details!
Specific method: connect the pronunciation of each kana and the writing method of hirakatakana into a short story for shorthand. For example: こ, コ, こ is like two small fishes, コ is like an oven, and the pronunciation is close to "roast". The short story is: two small fishes swam into the oven. I added illustrations to each short story in a book, such as the illustrations of こ and コ.
The shorthand method is like a memory crutch. After you learn to walk with a crutch, you need to use the second method below to throw away the crutch and start running!
2 Card Memory Method
Suitable for the crowd: students whose minds are empty when the order of kana is messed up
Specific method: make a set of cards, more than 60 cards . Write Hiragana on the front of the card and Katakana on the back. After finishing, shuffle the order and randomly select to memorize. Until you see the cards, you can quickly match them. I used Word to make a set of cards. Students can download and print the front side - 50 syllables - hiragana, and the reverse side - 50 syllables - katakana. Of course, later I also made a set of luxurious animation cards for internal students, like this:
?Pronunciation and mouth shape comparison method
Suitable for: students with strong accents, Students who learn Chinese-Japanese pronunciation.
Specific method: Find a teacher (Japanese is best), imitate his pronunciation and mouth shape, and then practice by yourself in front of the mirror. The picture below is a Japanese girl demonstrating the pronunciation of a certain kana. Can you guess which one it is?
Specific method: Master the classification of phonetic pronunciation and training reading of Chinese characters, and consciously divide words into phonetic reading and training reading. For details, please see my answer on Zhihu. Make a booklet with a list of commonly used Japanese characters, and look through it often when memorizing words. There are only 1945 commonly used Chinese characters in Japanese, and these 1945 Chinese characters are similar to the roots of English words. Finding out their pronunciation and pronunciation rules will be of great help to you in memorizing words.
I would like to recommend a skirt to you. The beginning is 108, the middle is 502, and the end is 8004. You can find it by combining it in order. There are tutorial materials in it that you can get. Every day in it There are live teachers teaching live, the teaching method is relaxed and humorous, and professional pronunciation correction guidance is provided. There is also a group of friends who love Japanese to learn and progress together. The learning atmosphere is rich. You are no longer afraid of learning alone and not having the motivation to persevere. Zero-level knowledge is welcome. If you are just joining in the fun, don’t come.
2 Connecting ideas with difficult-to-remember knowledge
Suitable for: Students with poor memory who have knowledge of special symbols and systems Students with memory burden
Specific method: These series of ideas are also memory crutches, and the purpose of using them is to throw them away. There are many places where you can build your own crutches in the early stages. Here are two examples:
The numbers 1 to 10 in Japanese are ついたち, ふつか, みっか, よっか, いつか, むいか, なのか, ようか, ここのか, とおか. Connect their initials, つふみよい, むなよこと. The homophone is: taking intoxicating drugs. Hey, dullness (here pronounced na) depends on it. Although it is unethical, the students can indeed memorize it in seconds.
The rules for the て deformation of verbs, especially the first type of verbs (five-part verbs), are more complicated. For ます-shaped verbs, we can divide them into three categories: ます is pronounced いちり in front of it, which is the pronunciation. Change, ます is preceded by びにみ, which is a dialing change, and ます is preceded by きぎし, and there are corresponding changes.
I summed it up into a formula:
Let’s be beautiful together (いちり) and wait for it! More beautiful than you (びにみ), flying んで.
Words and books.行って, 行って, hurriedly.
This formula has helped many students memorize the deformation rules in seconds. There are many places where you can build your own memory crutches at the primary stage. I will give these two examples here.
3 Summary and charting of various verb conjugations
Suitable for the crowd: all students who want to learn Japanese well
Specific method: various verb conjugations throughout the entire primary stage , if grammar is the skeleton, then verb conjugation is the backbone. Type 1 verbs (five-paragraph verbs), type 2 verbs (one-paragraph verbs), type 3 verbs (さ conjugated verbs) and a special verb "来る". Choose a few representative verbs for each type of words, and then as the learning progresses, Fill in the deformations of the ます form, て form, た form, basic form, ない form, command form, volition form, possible form, passive form, and causative form one by one. Finally, a table of nine conjugation rules for Japanese verbs was formed. By drawing this table, you will have mastered the basic grammar.
