Zhang Weili, female, was born on September 30, 1990 in Handan, Hebei Province. She is a Chinese professional mixed martial arts athlete and the first UFC world champion in Asia. Zhang Weili was once a Hebei women's Sanda athlete, and later moved to MMA, with a professional record of 23 wins and 2 losses. In March 2019, Zhang Weili defeated Tecia Torres and entered the top ten in the UFC rankings.
In August 2019, Zhang Weili TKO Jessica Andrade in 42 seconds and won the UFC strawweight world gold belt, becoming China's first and Asia's first UFC world champion. In March 2020, Zhang Weili defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk and successfully defended her title. In August 2020, Zhang Weili ranked 27th on the 2020 Forbes China Celebrity List.
