Reflections on reading "The Complete Works of Sherlock Holmes" in primary school 1
I couldn't put it down the book "The Complete Works of Sherlock Holmes" written by British writer Arthur Conan Doyle. How admirable Sherlock Holmes is!
The Sherlock Holmes in the novel is the descendant of a country squire. His grandmother is the sister of the French painter Horace Vernei. Therefore, he has been familiar with Vernay's paintings since he was a child, so these settings are good. Family and personal history are used to explain why Holmes understood the social customs of two generations ago, adapted to country life, and why he never let any French cases pass. This novel records 60 cases solved by Sherlock Holmes, the most successful literary image created by Mr. Conan Doyle. Among them, "A Study in Scarlet", "The Sign of Four", "The Hound of the Baskervilles" and "The Uncanny Valley" are full-length detective stories. This book has exciting plots and vivid content, and it has been one of the best-selling books in the world in the past century.
I read "The Complete Works of Sherlock Holmes" and felt that Sherlock Holmes was so smart! When I read it, I felt like I had stepped into the book, detective and solving crimes with Mr. Holmes. Holmes is so meticulous and serious when investigating every case. He can get useful clues from some details every time, even if it is a cigarette butt or a footprint. In "The Sign of Four", Holmes deduced the murderer's height, shape, characteristics, etc. after watching the crime scene. In comparison, I'm too stupid. What he saw I saw, and what he heard I heard. However, he later figured out the clues to the case, but I knew nothing about it. Therefore, as long as a person pays attention to the details around him, he can always get something from it.
Holmes is not only smart, but also great!
In "The Last Case", Holmes' fearless behavior is really admirable! In "The Final Case", Sherlock Holmes and Professor Moriarty, the "Napoleon of Crime", come face-to-face! Moriarty is the mastermind behind a high-level crime syndicate in London. Holmes wants to get rid of Moriarty for the good of society. When he was talking to Moriarty, he said: "If I can guarantee your destruction, then, for the benefit of society, I will be willing to die with you." Look! What a powerful statement! What a great sentence! In order to get rid of the scourge of Moriarty to society, Holmes was willing to end his detective career. Doesn’t such a great man deserve our admiration? In the end, Holmes and Moriarty died together... However, due to the strong request of readers, the author miraculously resurrected Holmes...
Holmes's intelligence and greatness will always be remembered by people. Heart! Thoughts on reading "The Complete Works of Sherlock Holmes" in elementary school 2
I just finished reading "The Complete Works of Sherlock Holmes" and when I closed the book, my mood was still surging: This is really a book that I can’t help but share. Great work!
"Sherlock Holmes" is a detective novel created by British writer Arthur Conan Doyle. The story revolves around the talented detective Sherlock Holmes. This book is extremely special. It is not as beautiful as "Charlotte's Web"; not as simple as "Hugo Dreaming"; and not as full of imagination as "Mao Mao"! It makes people tremble all over! Immerse yourself in the situation, as if the danger is behind you!
In the book, I often become Sherlock Holmes's assistant "Watson" and follow the intense case-handling plot to embark on a thrilling journey. In "A Study in Scarlet", the case has no clue and has not been solved for a long time, but Holmes uses his rich knowledge and meticulous thinking to make the truth come to light! I wanted to applaud him excitedly! And the "Uncanny Valley" is so scary! As I read, I was so frightened that I closed the book and immediately returned to the real world from the book! I needed to take a breath and slow down...but after a while, I couldn't help but turn to the next page. There is really no way!
In "The Last Case", the author actually let Holmes face off against the top criminal-Professor Moriarty. In the end, the two fell into the Reichenbach Falls and died together! When I saw this, like Watson, I "couldn't help but tremble all over", and even more "couldn't face this painful fact", and was heartbroken... I closed the book, and in the next few days, I I don’t even have the courage to open it again, because I know that Holmes will never appear again in the remaining few pages... He was once so "cold and lonely, proud and arrogant", "with extraordinary reasoning ability, And keen observation, every detail of him has the beauty of reason and the light of wisdom"... However, now, he has left me...
Time A long time passed, and one day, I accidentally saw this book inserted on the bookshelf, and I wanted to finish reading it. Who would have thought that Conan Doyle would cleverly arrange for Holmes to be resurrected at the end!
Ah! It’s incredible! I'm ecstatic! I am really impressed by Conan Doyle and Sherlock Holmes! This book makes people happy, sad, excited, and surprised!
I have loved reading books since I was a child. When I read, I was deeply immersed in the stories; when I closed the book, I often recalled those wonderful fragments. Words seem to have a magical power that has always attracted me.
I regard books as friends and even more treasures, and "The Complete Works of Sherlock Holmes" is the one I appreciate the most.
