Invalid. When signing an insurance contract, the policy holder shall sign in person (fingerprint) or seal. If the insurer or its Chinese counterpart signs on behalf of the policy holder, the insurance contract will not take effect unless ratified by the policy holder.
The China Insurance Regulatory Commission promulgated the "Notice on Issues Related to Regulating Personal Insurance Business Conduct" which stipulates: "Personal insurance application forms, health and financial notifications, and other documents indicating the intention to insure or applying for changes to the insurance contract shall be filled in by the policy holder in person and filled out by others. If it is filled out on your behalf, it must be signed and confirmed by the policy holder, and no other person is allowed to sign on your behalf
