Brief Introduction of Oberhausen Declaration
The Oberhausen Declaration is a declaration made by 26 young German filmmakers, including alexander kluge, at the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival in 1962. The declaration called for the establishment of a "new German film". The initiator of this declaration is Hello Senft, and the signatories include Alexander Kluge, edgar reitz and other internationally influential directors. The spirit of the declaration is "Dad's movie is dead".
