The original agreement is signed by only one party, and the copy is signed by both parties. Whether this copy is valid depends on whether the other party has any objection:

If the other party does not recognize the copy, the copy cannot play the role of proof and has no legal effect; If the other party agrees, it is valid.

But if it is copied first and then signed by both parties, the "copy" is actually the original and has legal effect.
