1. For farmers who plant every year, the first thing to do is to take care of the soil. Our family usually uses herbicides to spray weeds around the land, and excess weeds will also absorb soil nutrients. Don't spray them on the land that needs to be cultivated, it will cause tobacco to wither. Fertile land is more conducive to the growth of flue-cured tobacco. My hometown will use a tiller to loosen the soil, which is conducive to inhaling oxygen in the air.

2. Selecting seedlings, fertilizing and planting at appropriate intervals. Excellent seedlings are also the key to survival, so our family will choose seedlings about 20-25cm high for planting. Too short will lead to low survival rate, too high will be affected by the weather, so it is appropriate to transplant big seedlings when they land. Transplanting should try to choose big and strong seedlings, remove pests and diseases, and eliminate thin and tall seedlings. It is better to plant in cloudy or sunny evening, which is more conducive to survival. Pay attention to planting spacing when planting. Too thin flue-cured tobacco seeds will affect the yield, too dense will affect ventilation, resulting in narrow leaves. It should also be planted reasonably according to the fertility of the plot. Generally, about 600-2000 flue-cured tobacco seedlings are planted per mu/kloc-0. Finally, spread fertilizer around the seedlings, about 5cm away from the seedlings. Of course, the amount of fertilizer should be moderate. Too much fertilizer will lead to overnutrition of tobacco, and too little fertilizer will lead to stunting.

3. Manage seedlings and observe them regularly. After planting, you should always observe and manage, because some tobacco will be eaten by insects, and some will wither because the climate is not suitable, so you should observe regularly and replace the withered seedlings in time to avoid delay. And sick seedlings may also affect other healthy seedlings.
