The Type 052C guided missile destroyer is the first generation air defense guided missile destroyer of China Navy, with phased array radar and vertical launching system, and is known as "China Aegis". The first ship was launched on April 29th, 2003. There are currently two ships at this level, 170 Lanzhou and 17 1 Haikou.
