Brief introduction of Guangzhou port
Guangzhou Port is the fourth largest port in China with a throughput of 1, ranking fifth in the world. Since 1930s, Guangzhou has been the main port of the Maritime Silk Road, and it was the largest port in China during the Tang and Song Dynasties. It is a world-famous oriental port. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Guangzhou became the only foreign trade port in China, the only one in the history of maritime transportation in the world for more than 2,000 years, and it can be called "the cradle of the Oriental Maritime Silk Road". Since the reform and opening up, the rapid development of social economy has made Guangzhou Port an important hub of the national comprehensive transportation system and an important port for foreign trade in South China. On April 8, 20 15, the State Council released the overall plan of China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, supporting Guangzhou to form an integrated development pattern of international shipping center, logistics center, trade center and financial service system. Including printing and distributing the three-year action plan for the construction of shipping center from 20 15 to 20 17, starting the planning and construction of shipping logistics cluster, building Nansha cruise home port and Nansha port railway, launching the "port of departure" tax rebate pilot, promoting the cross-border electronic commerce pilot, building an international commodity trading center, and launching the pilot of parallel import of automobiles.
