AC is the abbreviation of ArchiCAD, a three-dimensional architectural design software. It was developed by 1982, a Graphisoft software company founded in Budapest. Because Steve admired each other, the founder of Apple Computer, in 1984, the year after the first Mac computer came out, ArchiCAD 1.0 was released on the Mac system. Until today, it is the only mainstream BIM modeling software that supports MAC system.
It can be seen from its name Archi (the prefix of architectural architect) that it is a BIM software developed by architects. Architects know the pain points in architectural design best, and the original intention of software is to solve these pain points. The four core functional modules of ArchiCAD have not changed since their birth. These four plates are: 1. Project tree, 2. View the mapping, 3. Atlas, 4. Publishers They correspond to a clear workflow of an architect: 1. Build a three-dimensional model. 2. Convert all angles of the model into drawings. 3. Check the drawings. 4. Publish drawings in batches. Today, "tailor-made for architects" is still an important slogan of ArchiCAD. Software genes make it reveal minimalist style, lightweight and localization from the inside out ... just like bitten apples, it is extremely simple, focused and beautiful. When using it, architects feel as if they are creating architectural works in their accustomed way of thinking. Many concepts, such as layer and snapshot, are very similar to AutoCAD, which is easy to learn and use. The drawing after modeling and design makes you feel more relaxed.
