During the first revolutionary civil war, from 1924 to 1927, with the development of the revolutionary situation, revolutionary children's organizations were established in large and medium-sized cities such as Shanghai, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Tianjin and Tangshan. They are called working boy scouts. This is the earliest revolutionary children's organization in China, which played a great role in that period. Children took part in the revolutionary struggle, mainly engaged in posting revolutionary slogans on the streets, distributing leaflets and selling revolutionary newspapers.
