Check whether the audio cable is connected properly, then check whether the power supply is normal, and then check whether the audio switch is turned on.

The reason why the webcam has no sound;

1. First, determine whether the audio input of the webcam is LINEIN (linear level). If the line audio input port is determined, check whether the power supply of the pickup is normal and whether the pickup is connected correctly.

2. Check the connection of audio signal output of the pickup. Generally, the audio input connector of the network camera is a 3.5 headphone connector, so the audio signal line of the corresponding pickup will be switched to a 3.5 headphone connector. It should be noted that although you are connected to the 3.5 headphone jack, the 3.5 headphone jack can be divided into dual channel and single channel, that is, stereo and mono. Check whether your 3.5 headphone jack is dual channel or single channel. If it is confirmed to be mono, then the positive pole of the pickup is the positive pole connected to 3.5, and the negative pole is correspondingly connected to the negative pole. If yours is dual-channel, there will be three cores, the negative pole of the pickup is connected to the negative pole of 3.5, and the positive pole is connected to the other two cores corresponding to the 3.5 connector, that is, the left and right channels.

3. At present, some brands of network cameras have both LINE and MIC inputs, that is to say, an audio input port may be LINE on the left channel and MIC on the right channel. In this case, the left and right channels cannot be connected to the positive pole of 3.5 together, but should be connected separately.

4. If the connector is an international standard interface, if there are two black wires on the earphone connector of 3.5, it means that it is a dual-channel interface, and those two black wires actually come from the insulating ring. 3.5 The top of the connector is stereo left channel, the middle of the insulating ring is right channel, and the root is negative, indicating grounding. If it is a mono 3.5 connector, on the contrary, only the black insulating ring can be seen, that is, the tip is positive and the root is negative.
