Ghost Laughter Stone is a big stone in Beijing Xiangshan Scenic Area. When the wind blows over this stone, it will send out a whizzing wind, which is similar to a ghost crying and wolf howling, hence the name. The stone is located at the foot of Baita Mountain in Beijing Xishan National Forest Park (Changhua Scenic Area), with an altitude of 473 meters. It can be reached from the entrance of Xishan National Forest Park in Beijing, Xiangshan Post Office, Badachu Mountain and Heishitou Village in Shijingshan.
Standing on the Ghost Laughing Stone, visitors can have a panoramic view of Beijing City, Beijing TV Tower, Summer Palace, Xiangshan Botanical Garden, Tuancheng Martial Arts Hall and many other places of interest and landmark buildings. The Ghost Laughter Stone is located in the protruding part of the western mountain peak, so the monsoon is fierce all year round. When the wind blows over the Ghost Laughter Stone, it will make a swish wind, which is similar to crying and howling. This is also the origin of the name of Xiangshan Ghost Laughing Stone.
Xiangshan scenic spot
Xianglufeng Xianglufeng is 575 meters above sea level, which is the highest place in Xiangshan Park. Because of its steep terrain and difficult climbing, it is commonly known as "ghosts see sorrow". Xiangshan Park has built three pavilions with their own characteristics on the top of the mountain. "Chongyang Pavilion" is planned to be 1999 Chongyang Capital. "Tengyunge" is named after the rain and before the spring rain. The name "Purple Smoke Pavilion" is named because the fog in the morning and evening is as light as Ziyun, and it appears and disappears, quite smelling of purple smoke from the sunshine incense burner.
Cuiwei Pavilion. Located in the south of Cuijing Lake, Cuiwei Pavilion is one of the 28 scenic spots in Jingyi Garden. Founded in the 10th year of Qianlong (1745), it is known as "Cuiwei" because it is located among ancient trees, shady trees, ravines and strange rocks, and adjacent to Laiqingxuan, Toad Peak and Yin Qing Pavilion. Ancient trees are listed here, and Emperor Qianlong once described this scene as "a thousand chapters in midsummer, birds singing up and down".
