Ji 'er Railway runs from Jining South Station in Wulanchabu, Inner Mongolia to Erenhot on the border between China and Mongolia, with a total length of 33 1km. This is an international intermodal trunk line connecting Ulaanbaatar and Moscow. Construction started in May/KOOC-0/953 and was completed in May/KOOC-0/955, which shortened the distance from Beijing to Moscow/KOOC-0//KOOC-0/4/KOOC-0/km compared with that via Manchuria. The whole line is managed by Hohhot Railway Bureau.
