-How to find and train IT students?

On the morning of July 29th, I watched the teaching video of Topic 2. After thinking, I think we should train students majoring in information technology from the following aspects:

First, find special students:

To cultivate special students, we must first select "special students" from many students. I think we should first choose those students who actively speak in information technology classes, dare to operate and have a strong interest in information technology courses, because interest is the best teacher; Secondly, we should pay attention to whether students are proficient in computer basics; In addition, students majoring in information technology have the following characteristics:

1. Good math performance and strong logical thinking; In the information technology course, especially the algorithm and programming module, students are required to have strong logical thinking ability.

2. Strong hands-on operation ability. Information technology is a practical course, which requires students to dare to practice.

3. Be sensitive to new things. Sensitivity to new things shows that students have a strong sense of inquiry and innovation, and in information technology teaching, students are also required to dare to explore, dare to innovate and not be afraid of failure.

Second, cultivate special students:

In the process of cultivating special students, I think the most important thing is to strengthen their counseling. This kind of counseling includes classroom teaching counseling and extracurricular counseling. In classroom teaching, we can assign them certain research topics in advance. In normal classroom teaching, they are not required to listen to content that is of little value to them. In the meantime, they can concentrate on studying and thinking about the research topic of distribution. After the normal classroom teaching, you can focus on tutoring special students when other students practice. After-school counseling, of course, does not occupy the time of other subjects after class, and carries out some special and research-oriented topics on the premise of having energy.

In addition to strengthening their counseling, one more thing is to continue to stimulate their interest. I don't think it is very difficult to do this. We can let them act as "little teachers" for the whole class. This can enhance their interest in learning and self-confidence, which I believe is beneficial and harmless to them.

Finally, I suggest that schools support the establishment of information technology interest groups or computer electronics associations, with information technology teachers as the main leaders. This can provide a platform for such students to learn and communicate, which is conducive to the personality development of such students and is an important way to train students majoring in information technology.

Everything is a double-edged sword. I think the above methods are feasible and effective. But I also want to remind teachers that in the training activities of special students, we should pay attention to the psychological changes of other students. Often some teachers pay special attention to special students, which causes other students to lose confidence in their studies. There are countless examples of this.

Let me share with you an example of my own teaching:

In the first class I taught, I found a student who was good at asking questions. Later, in teaching, I found that this student has been in contact with computers for a long time because of family conditions, so these teaching contents are too simple for him now. So I talked to him and agreed to several rules:

1. In the information technology class, you must observe the classroom order, attend classes on time, and abide by the computer room management system;

2. You don't have to listen to my lectures, but each class must complete the specific tasks assigned by me;

3. Be a good teacher in the eyes of other students; Seriously responsible for the counseling of students with difficulties, preview the lecture content arranged by me in advance to prepare for the lecture.

Our senior one textbook consists of five parts: computer foundation, windows operation, word, excel and network foundation. He can finish it easily, just need to strengthen the theory. In one year's teaching, he cooperated with another student to complete the following homework: making courseware of Information and Information Technology with ppt, making QQ space, and writing simple VB programming-simple calculator.
