One day once upon a time, Zhuang Zhou dreamed that he had turned into a butterfly, a dancing butterfly. He was very happy and contented, and did not know that he was Zhuang Zhou. After a while, he woke up from his dream, but it was Zhuang Zhou who was lying stiffly in bed. I wonder if Zhuang Zhou dreamed and turned into a butterfly, or if a butterfly dreamed and turned into Zhuang Zhou?
This fable is a famous piece that expresses Zhuangzi’s thought of equalizing all things. Zhuangzi believes that if people can break the boundaries between life and death, things and self, they will be happy wherever they go. It is written in an ethereal way and is often quoted by philosophers and writers.
There is a wonderful saying in "Zhuangzi Dream of Butterflies": "In the past, Zhuangzi dreamed of a butterfly, a lifelike butterfly. He described himself as suitable for his will and ambition, but he didn't know what was going on. Suddenly he felt it, and he was like a butterfly. He didn't know what was going on. The dream of Zhou is the butterfly, and the dream of the butterfly is Zhou Yu? This is called materialization. "
"You Meng Ying" written by Zhang Chao of the Qing Dynasty can be called "Yu Meng Ying". It is a cooling powder for modern people with hot and dry temper. Zen cannot be spoken, and pure words cannot be translated. There is such a witty saying in "You Mengying", which can be said to point out the essence of Zhuangzi's philosophy: "Zhuang Zhou's dream is a butterfly, which is Zhuang Zhou's luck; a butterfly's dream is Zhuang Zhou, which is the butterfly's misfortune."
Isn't it? Zhuang Zhou turned into a butterfly and went from a noisy life to a happy life. This was Zhuang Zhou's great luck; but a butterfly dreamed of being Zhuang Zhou and went from a happy life to a noisy life. I'm afraid it was the butterfly's sorrow.
But Zhouzhuang Dream Butterfly is the realm he longs for and the choice he longs for. Not everyone yearns for a free world. Butterfly dreams of Zhuang Zhou, this is the butterfly's choice and the butterfly's yearning. It cannot be generalized
This theory is widely used in philosophy. Nothing and I are endless, and things and I have no boundaries
