"The Land of Hope" is a chronological drama starring the director, Yin, Jiang Yan, Jane Yaxin and Li. It was broadcast in China on 20 19125 October. The drama tells the story of many protagonists represented by Ma, Wu, Liu and Tian, covering various fields such as industry, agriculture, commerce, academics and military affairs, and struggling forward in the wave of reform and opening up.

Every paragraph in The Land of Hope is a microcosm of the history of China's reform and opening up. The resumption of the college entrance examination, the return of educated youth to the city, and the distribution of farmland to households by farmers are all landmark events at the beginning of reform and opening up. The whole film is original in design, sincere in characters and reasonable in theme. Unfortunately, some plot designs are too deliberate and there are too many slogan lines.

The characters in The Land of Hope are very likable, especially the actresses, which show the good qualities of women in China. The old actors Li, WU GANG, Lin Yongjian, and Liu Jia all gave wonderful interpretations, which is a very good drama of the times.

Unfortunately, the story behind is getting worse and worse, and it falls into a cliche.
