Legal Basis

Article 1 of the "Regulations of the State Council on the Seals of State Administrative Agencies, Enterprises, and Institutions"

(1) National Administrative Agencies, Enterprises, and Institutions The seals of public institutions and social groups are always round.

(2) The seal of the State Council, six centimeters in diameter, with the national emblem published centrally and the name of the agency published externally on the national emblem, circular from left to right (Figure 1), made by the State Council.

Article 2

(1) The name printed on the seal shall be the legal name of the agency. The seal of the administrative office and the name of the province (autonomous region). (2) The seal of the people's government of an ethnic autonomous area shall be printed in both Chinese and corresponding ethnic characters.

(3) The seal text shall use Song font and simplified Chinese characters promulgated and implemented by the State Council.

(4) The material of the seal shall be determined by the issuing authority.
