1. Pencil manuscript
The formal pencil manuscript will be lighter, so I put the transfer manuscript with copy paper.
Before putting on pure white, observe whether there is any noise in the pen. If there is, find a piece of white paper and turn the pen to remove the noise and then color it.
Next, use the flesh-colored oil pastel to spread the skin color. I think the hardcover skin color is more saturated and easier to color, and there are fewer scraps. The flesh color of the plain yellow box is a little thinner than that of the hardcover painting on paper, so I won't talk about the scraps, but the thin yellow box can be used to draw small parts, so I usually use the hardcover skin color, and the rest use the plain one, which leads to the shortest flesh color in my whole hardcover. When painting skin color, pay attention to avoid the eyes, mouth and hair that we are going to paint behind, because the oil pastel will be dirty and greasy if it is not carefully mixed, so before painting, we should think about the effect of the next step or even ten steps. When I painted here, my fingers were flesh-colored, but in order to avoid confusing the boundary between face and hand at the back, I put the fingers and arms at the back and then spread the color.
Then point out the pupil position with a black oil pastel. From here on, all the yellow boxes are used. After the pupil position is pointed out, color it on the black side with light brown, and then draw the outline of the whole eyeball with dark brown. When drawing, pay attention to changing the pen angle at any time, and try to draw the side peak within the pencil sketch. After painting the eyeball color, draw the eyebrows with dark brown. Then draw the outline of the upper eyeliner and eyeball with dark brown colored lead, then draw the outline of the highlight part in the eyeball clearly, and then draw the eyelashes. When painting, put a paper towel or white paper under your hand, which will actually bring crumbs of various colors. It is better to put it on.
Next, color your lips with a big red oil pastel. When you draw, you can draw a small red lip by clicking, and you can gently draw the approximate position on the cheeks. Later, I will mix colors with the common flesh color, which will produce a healthy and bright skin color. Then, I will draw red on the tip of the nose, and the blank part is a fallen leaf that falls on my nose. Then use the meat color of the yellow box and click it to mix colors and spread evenly.
I'll draw the lower eyelid and the corner of my eye with red colored lead, tick off the outline of the lower part of my nose, and then gently draw it on the coating of the oil pastel to make a transition, so the colored lead can be painted on the oil pastel, and then draw the double eyelids, darken the eyelids with the previous red color, and still write lightly, otherwise I'll scrape off the oil pastel I drew before, then tick off the mouth shape, deepen the lip color, and then put it on.
3. Then we began to color our hair. We used hardcover oil pastels here. Because the hair area is large, I used thick colors. The colors used are actually the same as those used for painting eyes, dark brown and light brown. The corresponding colors in hardcover are called dark brown and ripe ochre. When you draw hair, you should draw it according to the hair trend in the previous pencil draft. The light-receiving surface is light, and the shadow part is dark or mixed with these two colors. The order of the dark and dark colors is different when mixing colors, and the background color of the hooked hair will be different. You can feel it yourself. There is also a sense of overall situation when painting, and the powerful coverage of oil pastels will make you feel color confusion later.
The colors used for the leaves are olive green and dark olive. The leaves are divided into two halves, and the tips of the leaves are red. Because the leaves start to turn red in autumn, you should pay attention to the relationship between the leaves when painting, and point out the small red fruits between the leaves with red after spreading the general color.

5. The plant part was not finished at one time, and then I started to hook the hair part with a homemade wooden pen. In fact, there are pins, toothpicks, art knives or ink pens that can't write colors. You can choose according to the line thickness and ease of use. Personally, it is a bit hard for fingers to work with pins or toothpicks for a long time, so I made a wooden pen. How to do this is to use a disposable chopsticks pencil sharpener and then use it after the thickness is processed with a art knife. When you hook the hair, first hook the outline of each hair, and then divide it into small pieces to hook the hair, so that the painting will not be messy, that is, from large to small and then to each hair. There will be a lot of crumbs when checking, so please clean them up in time, otherwise the more they accumulate, the dirtier the picture will be, because dirtiness is inevitable, so we can only minimize the coloring of crumbs.
After hooking the hair, I began to repair the details with colored lead, that is, I trimmed these burrs and smoothed them, and the color used was the same as or similar to that of the oil pastel. Trimming the details is to clean up the edges and distinguish the relationship between objects. When drawing hair, you can trim the edges and increase them, and make adjustments according to the picture effect. It is very patient to draw this part, so it doesn't matter to take your time, but don't be impatient.
Next, I paint the gray cat with a light gray oil pastel, draw the meat pad on the cat's paw with a pink and white oil pastel, and then draw stripes with a light brown oil pastel, and then reconcile with gray to prepare for the cat's hair at the back. Then put it on the cat's side, and I began to draw the lower part of the picture, that is, the clothes and plants. First, I painted the pomegranate leaves on the clothes, and painted them in sapphire blue. Well, the pomegranate turned out to be in autumn, and then I painted the leaves in the lower right corner, with the same painting method as on the left. After painting, I still remember to point some red fruits.
Then use wooden strokes to draw cat hair, according to the growth direction. Then notice that there are two plants on the back of the cat's head. When painting, pay attention to distinguish the relationship between the front and the back. The details can be supplemented with colored lead. This is what I did with some red fruits on my arms. First, I scraped off the coating with a wooden pen, and then painted red, which can reduce the greasy caused by mixed colors. Then draw the remaining plants and fruits here at the cat's tail. Then the pomegranate fruit is colored and the details of some plants in the lower left corner are depicted. The so-called detail description is to smooth the outline with colored lead and distinguish the front and back relationship between the arm and the plant, and the front and back relationship between the hair and the plant. If necessary, scrape off the excess coating with a utility knife and tick out the veins with a wooden pen.
Then we drew the bee, and the expression was quite helpless. First, we hit the bottom with an oil painting stick, and then we drew the stripes, eyes, tentacles, wings and other things of the bee in black, brown and blue, as well as the dotted flight track behind us. After painting these, I began to paint the plants in front of the clothes. The relationship between plants in this part is a bit complicated, so I looked at it for a long time before I sorted out the relationship, but it was fine after sorting it out, so don't give up when I painted here. The painting method is the same as before.
Remember to draw a vein for the small leaves on the nose, and then add a part of red with red lead. On my side, I am scraping off the small particles of oil pastel stuck on my face with an art knife, and then clean up the picture. Next, we draw the details of pomegranate fruit, and draw the leaves and fruits with sapphire blue and crimson lead respectively. Then finish the neckline and left hand, and draw it directly on the oil pastel coating with red colored lead to create neckline shadow and distinguish the front and back effects of fingers and face.
6. Then, the plants on the right side of the cat's tail should be finished, and the painting method is the same as before. Many steps are actually to repeat the previous actions, so pay attention to the context when painting. Next, use gray lead to complete the outline of the second half of the cat, then use black lead to deepen the outline, and don't miss the pink meat pad. After painting, draw small paws and fill in a little pink.
7. Then we began to enrich the picture, and looked at the small blue plants behind the green leaves of 459 with sapphire colored lead. This part is just looking at the picture, and if you feel that there is a lack, draw the leaves in. Remember to connect the leaves together and look like a growth trend. Then we finished the clothes. This part was colored with colored lead, and the colors used were Kong Quelan and dark green. The final effect was a sharp color contrast with the red pomegranate fruit.
The yellow background here is khaki lead. Cover all the white background, and remember to leave a pink flower area for ornament. The second bee is painted in the same way as the previous one. Then I painted English characters in autumn. I used black and brown lead and dark brown oil pastels here. After painting, I felt that the color was too dark, so I scraped the color of the oil pastel with a utility knife.
8. Then continue with khaki lead, and draw petals and flower hearts and two or three osmanthus flowers in groups with pink and yellow lead. Then fill in the parts that were not painted before, such as the decoration in the neck, a small number of plants in the background and green clothes. Then paint the remaining background with khaki lead, draw some osmanthus flowers, and finally make the final adjustment to the picture.
